Five years ago, in what was probably a chilly December night in New York City, Blake and Jillian met for their first date. Blake, a native of the Dallas area, found himself back in the bustling heart of New York City. Having recently returned to the Big Apple, he had no idea that destiny was about to intervene in a most remarkable way. Jillian, a true New England girl, probably also had no idea that her world was about to shift. But shift it did, and after that first night, the rest was history!
As Jillian said, “We often commented about the fact that we both needed to be in the right place at the right time in order for our paths to ultimately cross. We grew up in completely separate parts of the country, attended different colleges, and had different friend groups.
Manhattan is one of the most densely populated cities in the world and we truly believe we were meant to find each other.” This was something that could not have been planned. Jillian and Blake were clearly meant to be.
THE WEDDING WEEKEND
What a way to start the weekend with a beautiful rehearsal dinner at a private barn in Westlake, Texas.There were so many wonderful speeches and wonderful things said about the bride and groom (some tears were definitely shed!) that it was difficult to choose what would appear in the wedding film.
The wedding day was a beautiful crisp November day. Jillian got ready at the Thompson Hotel while Blake hung out with his guys at a private residence. The ceremony was at the beautiful Highland Park United Methodist Church with the reception following at the Thompson Hotel.

I feel like our couples make our job incredibly easy and fun. Jillian and Blake were no exception! This wedding was such a fun one to put together and we couldn’t have been more excited and pleased to spend the day with them! We hope that you enjoy this special wedding film!
